Incorporating Color

Pantone has long been the expert and influence on fashion’s favorite colors. As I did a little window shopping recently, I noticed a recurring color scheme throughout the stores that, sure enough, goes along with the Pantone guidelines.

As the summer ends and fall begins, it’s nice to switch from the steady line of bright colors to more classic neutrals. But while we cling to our seasonal comfort zone, grabbing for browns and grays and nudes, a variety of vibrant colors, seen in past seasons, are joining us in the transition to autumn. I’m excited to mix and match to find a balance amongst the assorted hues. In the meantime, here are a couple pieces I’ve found in each Pantone color.
